Mapping the century old musical heritage of Bakırçay Basin that involve urban and rural regions of Soma, Bergama and Dikili; the project displays the role of music in execution of celebrations, continuation of inter-social relations while naturally taking unique assets and customs of Roma music to the fore. Thus, the research based project takes immigration, gender, cultural diversity and folkloric richness as main issues while leaving behind 50 never-seen-before videos, 18 interviews, 500 photographs, two articles, a bibliography and never-heard-before recordings of male and female musicians.
