The foundations of which were laid in 2014 by Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Contemporary Dance Department students and ASD, and after moving to Izmir in 2016; VIAF brought performances from various disciplines to the audience in venues that have not hosted cultural events before. Funded by Spaces of Culture and Civil Society Exchange program, the festival hosted Tuğçe Tuna, Ivo Ivanov, Valko Chobanov, Gizem Aksu, Sarp Keskiner, Mihran Tomasyan and İlyas Odman in 2018 edition, in collaboration with Sofia Underground International Performance Art Festival from Bulgaria, under conduction of Teos Culture and Arts Association.
